2013 Summer Reading Club – Pack Your Bags… Destination Library!

Children from birth through high school are invited to journey with us during the 2013 travel-themed “Have Book Will Travel” Summer Reading Club. Registration will begin on May 28.  "Back To Books" Grant

Secretary of State Jesse White has announced that the Peoria Heights Public Library has received a grant of $2,600 from the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services and Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The money will be used to continue development of the library’s local author collection and will help introduce central Illinois patrons to specially designed programs.

In another project, The Diamond Jubilee book, created by Peoria Heights residents in 1973 in honor of the Village’s 75th anniversary, will be digitized and added to the library’s website for easy access.
